How To: Export Favorites/Bookmarks from Internet Explorer

  1. Open your browser
  2. From your File menu, select Import and Export  to bring up import and export wizard.
  3. Click on Next to go to the next screen. Select Export Favorites item from the list of actions to perform.
  4. Click on Next  and select the favorites to be imported. Selecting Favorites folder imports all sub-folders and the favorites within each. Click Next.
  5. Select the radio button that says Export to a File or Address and enter a file name, say c:\My Documents\MyBookmarks.htm
  6. Click Next and click on Finish.
