How To: Locating bookmarks file in Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox

  1. Netscape browser stores your bookmarks in a file called ‘bookmark.htm’.
  2. In the step 3 below substitute xyz with your browser directory
  3. This will typically be in your Netscape installation directory. If you have installed Netscape to , say C:\Program Files\xyz\ directory, and you have identified yourself as John, then your bookmark.htm file should be in C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\John\ directory.
